Arrival in Entebbe
Today you will arrive at Entebbe airport in the night. Upon arrival, you shall be assisted through emigration clearance. You shall be transported to your hotel which is only 20 minutes from the airport. Our guide will assist you in exchanging money or making any purchases the next morning. Enjoy dinner and a restful night as you get ready to start your adventure.
Fly to Kisoro airstrip – Drive to the lodge | Batwa Pygmie tour
After an early breakfast, transfer to Entebbe Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Kisoro Airstrip, departing at approximately 07h00 and arriving around 08h15. Upon arrival, meet your driver-guide and proceed on a scenic drive through southwestern Uganda’s lush terraced hills to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its rich biodiversity and the endangered Mountain Gorillas. Check in at your lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a guided cultural walk to a nearby Batwa (Pygmy) community, where you will learn about their traditional forest lifestyle and cultural heritage.
Flight Back to Entebbe
After breakfast, transfer back to Kisoro Airstrip for your return flight to Entebbe, departing at 08h30 and arriving at approximately 11h25. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Check in and relax. Lunch will follow. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay.
End of trip - Departure
Very early breakfast and transfer to the nearby Entebbe International airport. Arrive and check in for your outbound flight out depending on schedule.
