Arrival & Transfer to the Namib Desert
Arrive via Airlink from Cape Town at 09h30 into Windhoek. You will be met by your professional guide and depart immediately for Sossusvlei in the Namib Desert. The drive is approximately 5 hours, passing through changing desert landscapes and open plains. Lunch will be enjoyed en route. Arrival at your lodge in the afternoon — check-in and time to relax in the quiet desert surroundings. Dinner at the lodge.
Swakopmund — Desert to Coast
After breakfast, depart for Swakopmund through the Namib-Naukluft landscapes, passing rugged canyons and striking rock formations. Stop at the Tropic of Capricorn for photographs. Continue to Walvis Bay Lagoon for a short visit to observe flamingos and other birdlife along the Atlantic coast. Proceed to Swakopmund, a coastal town known for its German colonial architecture and relaxed seaside atmosphere. The evening is at leisure to explore local restaurants.
Etosha National Park — Journey to the Wild
Breakfast and departure toward Etosha National Park. The journey takes approximately 5 hours across Namibia's open landscapes. Arrival at Okaukuejo Rest Camp, located within the park. After check-in, enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of wildlife. The camp is well positioned with access to the famous floodlit waterhole where wildlife gathers in the evenings.
Windhoek — Return to the Capital
After breakfast, depart Etosha and drive approximately 6 hours back to Windhoek. Arrival in the afternoon and check-in at your guesthouse. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Windhoek blends modern African life with German colonial influences, visible in its architecture and cultural landmarks.
Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
