Your adventure begins with a breathtaking scenic flight over the expansive African savannah, transporting you from Nairobi to the captivating Chyulu Hills in less than an hour. On arrival at our private airstrip, you are only a ten-minute, beautiful game drive from the lodge. The journey, set against the backdrop of the iconic Green Hills of Africa, is a delightful prelude to your stay. The ride in our custom-made Rivian Safari vehicle, a pioneering marvel in safari transportation, offers an experience akin to gliding on a magic carpet, enveloping you in nature, with luxury and innovation. After settling into the lodge and indulging in a healthy five-course lunch featuring fresh produce from our organic farm, we will enjoy a game walk to Longido. This pre-Cambrian lookout hill, crowned by the majestic Kilimanjaro, offers a mesmerizing view of the sunset and the plains, evoking a sense of being in Eden. The day concludes with a night game drive back to Campi ya Kanzi, where a candlelit five-course dinner under the African sky awaits.

The day begins early with a zero-emissions journey in the Rivian to Tsavo, one of Africa’s largest and oldest national parks. Known for its large elephant populations, Tsavo is a breathtaking expanse covering 8,000 square miles. The diversity of its landscape, from ancient lava flows to nearly billion-year-old metamorphic rocks, fosters an incredibly varied vegetation, including the revered baobabs. A picnic lunch at the Roaring Rock, overlooking the Rhino Valley, offers spectacular vistas. Tsavo is our best safari in terms of diversity: our record of mammal species spotted in a day stands at 33! This immersive safari experience in Tsavo, renowned for its ecological diversity, concludes with a drive across the Shetani lava flow, arriving at the eco-conscious Chyulu Lodge in the late afternoon. The Club, celebrated as Africa’s first zero-emissions lodge, perfectly encapsulates the harmony between luxury and sustainability.

Our journey concludes with a scenic flight back to Nairobi after breakfast. On clear days, the flight offers a spectacular view, with both Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Kenya gracing the horizon, bidding you a majestic farewell. OPTIONAL EXTRA NIGHT: Rhino Sanctuary Under the Stars For those seeking an even more immersive experience, an additional night at the Tsavo rhino sanctuary is recommended. This unforgettable stay involves sleeping on a special platform overlooking a waterhole frequented by rhinos, elephants, and buffaloes. The facility includes a shower and flushing toilet, ensuring comfort in the wild. The real safari experience is enhanced by sleeping under a mosquito net and on safari mattresses.
